Leaders Helping Leaders Network

You’ve Just Become Part of a Special Network

Leaders Helping Leaders Network will take your leadership to the next level by connecting you with a nationwide network of law enforcement professionals that are focused on one thing – making good leaders great

OUR Program

Leaders Helping Leaders Network was created to develop a one-of-a-kind national network for inter-agency mentoring among law enforcement professionals interested in becoming the best leaders they can be. Whether you joined this network as a contributor, mentor, mentee or some combination of all, we are excited to have you as part of this innovative group!

01

It All About Relationships

You have already taken step one in the process by applying to be in the program. Thank you! Next our team will match you with the best person that seems to meet your current needs professionally for growth as a leader. We are committed to helping you develop a true mentoring relationship that enriches both participants as leaders.

02

Orientation

Once you have been matched with your mentor, you will be asked to attend an orientation webinar hosted by Dean Crisp. We will offer this live and recorded but you will be expected to attend the live if at all possible. It will establish the vision Dean has for the program, the overall goals, set ground rules for mentor-mentee interactions, and answer any initial questions you may have.

03

Check Ins

While we want the mentoring relationship to be as free-flowing as possible, LHLN will want to periodically check in with mentors and mentees to see how things are going, answer any questions,  and address any concerns.

Mentors will be asked to participate in a monthly e-roundtable with Dean to share their experiences and share ideas among mentors.

Mentees will be contacted via e-mail with a brief survey to complete.

04

Evaluate

At the end of the 6-month mentoring relationship, all participants will be asked to give their opinion on their experience in the program including how to improve the program. Participants will be encouraged to re-apply for a different mentoring experience and all will be encouraged to remain members of the LHLN network through flash mentoring, creation of peer-to-peer groups and the sharing of resources for our members-only resource area.
